As a Barclays Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Quality Control (QC) Analyst, you will review transactional activity generated by the Transaction Monitoring systems or manual referrals made to the AML team and perform investigations on adherence to the "Standard Investigation Protocol." Testing Suspicious Activity Reports (SAR) filed by the AML Ops team adhere to State and Federal regulatory compliance, you will also provide feedback to AML Management on improving SAR reporting and AML investigations that are deemed not suspicious.

What will you be doing?
??? Testing AML alerts closed by AML Operations, providing insightful and objective observations based on the testing performed ??? Reviewing filed SARs filed to ensure they consistently meet Bank Secrecy Act requirements and regulator expectations ??? Giving feedback to quality assurance reviews to AML Management in order to continue providing guidance to AML Investigators on improving investigations and SAR reporting ??? Conducting trend analysis on AML errors, including deficiencies in the investigations, SAR reporting and training but also on suspicious activity, account type and geographic trends ??? Assisting in the implementation of AML/BSA detection and prevention methods, such as training and instruction manuals ??? Being responsible for helping with departmental tracking and reporting ??? Supporting any special projects or critical casework
What we're looking for:
??? Bachelor's Degree or equivalent AML or Fraud related experience ??? Knowledge of BSA/AML and OFAC regulations ??? Three or more years of credit card or banking experience ??? Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with great attention to detail and understands importance of accuracy and responsiveness
