This person will be responsible for leading private real estate investments in the Western U.S. region across asset classes and capital structure.
Specifically, this person will:
Source, evaluate and consummate real estate private equity and debt investments throughout the Western U.S., including opportunistic, value-add, and core-plus profiles consistent with the investment criteria of various PIMCO fund vehicles.
Lead all aspects of the investment process, including sourcing, underwriting and structuring.
Leverage existing relationships and build new relationships to drive investment strategies and opportunities.
Develop investment strategy and identify target markets, sectors and counterparties for investment.
Help lead and mentor junior investment professionals on PIMCO's commercial real estate team.
The SVP, Acquisitions will bring 12+ years of investment experience at a top-tier real estate investment management firm. The candidate will have experience across asset classes with a focus on the Western region, with a preference toward candidates who have experience investing across the capital structure and at the portfolio and/or corporate/entity level. They will be a visible member of the PIMCO CRE team and must have the confidence, collaborative style and gravitas to garner credibility and build relationships both internally and externally.

A strong investment track-record including significant experience sourcing, structuring and investing in the Western U.S.
Experience investing in all major asset types through direct real estate acquisitions as well as in structured transactions at the asset and corporate level.

Adept at producing compelling, detailed materials and information to support conviction behind investment recommendations.
Proactive "hunter" mentality seeking to uncover new opportunities and relationships.

This person will have an understanding of investor relations, financial reporting, legal/regulatory compliance, and fund/deal structuring.

Previous experience in a formal or informal leadership/mentorship role.

PIMCO follows a total compensation approach when rewarding employees which includes a base salary and a discretionary bonus. Base salary is the fixed component of compensation that is determined by core job responsibilities, relevant experience, internal level, and market factors. The discretionary bonus is used to award performance and therefore is determined by company, business, team, and individual performance.
Salary Range: $ 265,000.00 - $ 305,000.00
