The Personal Lines Underwriting Manager will be responsible for:

• Lead and manage a team of 5 underwriters, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure their professional growth and development.
• Set clear goals and performance expectations for the team, monitoring progress and providing regular feedback to drive individual and collective success.
• Oversee the underwriting process, ensuring compliance with guidelines, risk assessment accuracy, and timely policy issuance.
• Collaborate with senior management and cross-functional teams to develop and implement underwriting strategies that align with company objectives and market trends.

The Personal Lines Underwriting Manager should have the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in personal lines underwriting, with a proven track record of success.
• Previous experience leading and managing a team, with the ability to motivate, inspire, and develop individuals to achieve their full potential
• Excellent knowledge of insurance regulations, underwriting guidelines, and industry best practices.
• Excellent communication skills
