RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS
The Global Banking & Markets Operating Risk team is responsible for oversight of Operational Risk (across Sales, Trading, Engineering and Operations), Supervision, Conduct, Control Remediation, and Business Resiliency for the Global Banking & Markets Division.
The Global Banking & Markets Sales & Trading Controls team exists to both address immediate risk management priorities in the Supervision risk space within Global Banking & Markets and to develop new innovations in this field. The focus of the team is the supervision related risks that arise within the activities of the Global Banking & Markets Division, including both traditional business lines and electronic trading business lines.
As an Electronic Trading Risk Manager/Sales & Trading Controls Specialist you will develop an in-depth knowledge of the electronic trading control framework, supervision, and generate ideas to advance the electronic trading control repository. You will participate in the design of new supervisory controls and the re-engineering of existing processes by collaborating with Business Supervisors, engineers and traders. It is important to maintain the control framework and associated processes. This helps to manage risks and ensure that our risk and control framework is effective and fit for purpose.
Your Impact:
Driving projects improving and maintaining tools supporting the Electronic Trading / Sales & Trading control framework
Supporting governance for Electronic Trading globally, establishing standards and best practices for Electronic
Trading risk management
Enabling the Business to onboard new and material changes to electronic trading activities for Committee review and approval
Designing and enhancing processes to provide Business Supervisors with best in class tools to supervise the risk in their business
Coordination of Global automated trading related risk assessments and certifications
Review of e-trading related operational risk events
Develop key metrics to measure effectiveness of the automated trading and Supervisory control framework
Liaise with other Divisions, such Compliance, Legal, Risk and Internal Audit as well as support regulatory interactions
RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Understanding of risks and controls across electronic trading, sales and trading business
Understanding of revenue generative functions
Working knowledge of software driven risks
Experience managing projects, and building and maintaining stakeholder relationships
Experience of operational risk and a familiarity with operational risk frameworks a plus
Experience in process redesign and executing strategic concepts from inception to implementation
Ability to prioritize and meet simultaneous competing demands and a passion for a drive to deliver
Interest in developments in the global financial regulatory environment, specific knowledge of automated trading related regulation and front office supervision frameworks a plus

Salary Range The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $125000-$250000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
