This position is responsible for providing support in analyzing, selecting, closing and managing Private Equity investments. 

A Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics or relevant field ; OR a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a closely related field with a professional certification such as a CFA or CAIA is required.  Must have seven years’ experience working in private equity, investment banking or a closely related field.  Must have and be able to demonstrate advanced skills in Microsoft Excel to perform financial analysis and use advanced features of Excel including lookup and referencing formulas, financial analysis formulas, and advanced use of charts and graphs.  Must have demonstrated experience independently preparing financial analysis including data gathering, financial modeling, and spreadsheet maintenance.  Must have an aptitude for reading complex business, financial and legal documents, and identifying key provisions thereof.  Must have sound public speaking and interpersonal skills.  Must have an understanding of and be familiar with financial and business terminology.  Must possess good proofreading skills and a thorough understanding of grammar rules for business writing.  Must be able to effectively coordinate and manage multiple assignments while meeting deadlines.  Must be detail oriented with strong analytical thinking ability, professional communication skills particularly in confidential situations, and able to work as a part of a team.  Must have computer experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.  Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable under the GF Private Equity Group’s vehicle insurance policy.  Must pass criminal history background check and pre-employment drug test.
