Ameriprise Financial, Inc. seeks a Solutions Architect in Minneapolis, MN responsible for conceptualizing and designing detailed software solutions, enabling the organization to meet business objectives.

Responsibilities

Identify key business and technology drivers that impact architectures, including end-user requirements, existing application environment (including legacy and packaged systems), and performance/availability requirements, and collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to understand scope and requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 5 years of progressively responsible experience in general architecture, operations, and deployment methodologies and techniques.
• 5 years of experience in solutions architecture designs and concepts, including SDLC process, security, high availability, recovery, performance, monitoring and operations design, and application architecture.
• 10 years of experience with software integration, software development and technical support.
• 5 years of experience applying standard architecture patterns to real-world business problems in the financial services industry.
• 5 years of experience with the full tech stack, from the browser (HTML/Javascript/CSS) to the services tier, to the underlying systems-of-record (both mainframe and distributed systems).
• 2 years of experience with mobile apps (SWIFT/iOS, Kotlin/Android).
• 5 years of experience with industry security standards, such as SAML.
• 5 years broad experience with vendor software integrations.
• 10 years of experience working with the Advice & Wealth Management industry, including areas such as financial planning, brokerage, insurance, annuities, and managed products. Salary Range: $120,900 - $141,900. To apply, please visit joinameriprise.com Job Req #29084BR.
