??? On behalf of a global financial services organization, work as a senior Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) Administrator and apply knowledge of ETL methodology and best practices in leading the design and development of one or more key tracks across the data integration strategy and implementation process. ??? Build and maintain the environment supporting the Ab Initio and Informatica platforms by installing, upgrading, configuring and maintaining Ab Initio products (co-ops, EME, Express>IT, Control Center, MHUB, AG etc.) and Informatica product suite on respective ETL servers. ??? Perform proof of concept (POC) for new Ab Initio products. ??? Design, code, unit test and deploy implementation components. ??? Develop Unix shell scripting, perform Ab Initio code review, and provide solutions to optimize the performance of code. ??? Design and develop automation scripts to reduce overall effort and increase the efficiency in delivery. ??? Manage projects from inception to implementation involving various teams and stakeholders across geography. ??? Interact with different project and application teams to understand their Ab Initio infrastructure requirements and determine the required software, tools, and capacity (CPU, SAN Storage, Servers, etc.). ??? Create Ab Initio multi-file systems (MFS) and help application teams to debug any issues faced in MFS file system, setting up remote connectivity between servers. ??? Setup active-active or active-passive Ab Initio infrastructure for applications with High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions based on the project requirement. ??? Request and maintain the Ab-Initio license for ETL servers and Users (GDE, Express>IT). ??? Create and maintain the EME and the branches. ??? Create new projects in the EME and perform application setup on ETL servers. EME operational management (start, stop, backup, restore, auditing, etc.). ??? Setup Express>IT and Control Center for new projects and applications. ??? Automate the restart of all Ab Initio services (bridge, reporter, key client, EME, etc.) after server patching/reboot. ??? Conduct centralized capacity planning for ETL servers, and manage software installation, upgrades, and POC's.
What we're looking for:
Requires a minimum of a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Engineering (any), Computer Science, or related field and five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the position offered, Senior Consultant, Software Engineer, or related role. Must have experience with: Developing and applying Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) tool methodology and best practices; Administration of ETL software using AbInitio and Informatica; Maintenance and backup of EME/Informatica Repository, EME Auditing, starting/shutting down EME's/Informatica Services, EME backup and restore; Analyzing and translating business requirements into technical requirements and architecture; Creating EME technical repository and project structure in EME; and Using UNIX, Linux, Oracle, PL/SQL, Teradata, Autosys and Tivoli Workload Scheduler (TWS).
