Job Description Morgan McKinley are recruiting for a Head of Tax on behalf of a leading company in central London reporting into the head of finance.
This Head of Tax is ideally suited to a CTA professional with 10+ years corporate tax experience with experience setting up an in-house tax function.

Qualifications & Experience
Qualified ACA or CTA with ideally 5-8 years experience
Must have experience dealing with large in-house clients circa one billion pound plus
Broad tax expeirence including tranfer pricing, corproate tax compliance, VAT
Ideally have exposure to Transfer Pricing & Corporate Tax preparation and advisory
Must be commercially minded with ability to find added-value in role
Responsibilities
Main point of contact for all tax-related queries
Responsible for maintaining relations with HMRC
Within the organisation, raise tax awareness by engagement with other areas of expertise and build relationships with key staff
Preparation of group and entity tax figures and disclosures for inclusion in the statutory accounts on an FRS 101 and FRS 102 basis, in conjunction with others, on an interim and annual basis.
Preparation of tax forecasts and effective tax rates
Review and advise on the tax rates and cash flows related to capital expenditure
Take ownership of the group's corporation tax and Indirect tax compliance.
UK tax legislation compliance and ensure that appropriate controls and data integrity checks are adopted and implemented, and that process notes are kept up to date.
Monitor changes in tax legislation and accounting for direct and indirect taxes
Provide tax training through presentations to ensure compliance with tax requirements
