As a Barclays Enterprise Application Architect, you will manage a technology portfolio in the CTO Application Engineering Domain that will have broad impact on Barclays group business areas. Being a part of the Development Services (DS) team, you will ensure business area engagement in emerging technologies and maintenance of technology radars across diverse technology areas and create a pipeline of application platform technologies that address contemporary delivery of applications and services in pursuit of the digital agenda of the firm.

What will you be doing?
??? Providing architectural oversight and governance of the front to back and connected architectural landscape for the CTO
??? Reviewing the architecture of major programmes within Barclays' technology and data principles, policies and standards, as well as consistency with wider target architecture
??? Contributing our assigned technology domain to further Barclays' technology strategy
??? Ensuring that any CTO technology strategy papers address the needs and concerns of Barclays CIOs
??? Creating a culture of, and technical environment for, continuous improvement in developer productivity and delivery effectiveness
??? Supporting the analysis and demand challenge of requirements and requirements gathering as well as the definition of functional and non-functional requirements
??? Documenting business requirements and business processes, and providing input, where possible, into the development of policies and procedures
??? Performing data analysis on the production incidents and propose strategic enhancements, and providing management information based on trending analysis of the agile metrics
What we're looking for:
??? Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Mathematics or other Scientific discipline
??? Experience of spearheading the design and implementation of enterprise systems in greenfield and brownfield environments
??? Aptitude for and understanding of shaping and defining Enterprise Architectures using a variety of technologies that enable to achieve long-term business outcomes
