Under the guidance of more senior legal team members providing legal supporting to our bank's retail banking business which comprises of fintech (including various digital payment initiatives, API), digital banking, credit card, personal loan and mortgages, branch inquiries and other business initiatives, attending to other general retail banking matters such as complaints handling
Draft/review/negotiate contracts and agreements; approve and review new products/services; assist with the drafting of or review of internal policies and procedures; manage external legal counsel
Provide regulatory advice including personal data privacy, competition law issues etc
Requirements:
Bachelor or above in Laws or related disciplines
Qualified solicitor in Hong Kong with 2-4 years of PQE gained from a reputable law firm or legal and compliance department of banking / financial institutions
Candidates with experience in Fintech will be an advantage
Prior exposure in major retail banks will be an advantage
A good team player and ability to work independently with excellent presentation and communication skills
Excellent command of written and spoken Chinese and English. Fluent in Mandarin is an advantage
