Snowflake Data Engineer - Financial Services - Contract - London
Alexander Ash are currently working with a global conglomerate??who are looking for a Snowflake Data Engineer to join their multi-disciplinary team. This is an exciting opportunity for any Snowflake Data Engineer who is dedicated and will seek to identify improvements and efficiency's, while utilising new technologies and existing tools as the organisation takes on one of it's biggest bodies of work.
Skill Requirements
Experience in Snowflake Data Warehouse
Strong SQL skill
Hands-on experience with Snowflake utilities such as SnowSQL, SnowPipe, Python, Tasks, Streams, Kafka connector , Time travel, Optimizer, Metadata Manager, data sharing, and stored procedures.
In-depth understanding of Data Warehouse/ODS, ETL concept and modelling structure.
Experience in Cloud platform (AWS/Azure)
A working knowledge with CI/CD; Automation of Warehouses for Ingestion and Consumption
Good to have Snowflake certification
Good to have experiences in visualisation tool (e.g. Power BI, Tableau)
