S&P Global Market Intelligence - Shareholder Intelligence Summer Intern (EMEA)
The Team: S&P Global's Issuer Solutions is a premier provider of market intelligence to issuers globally seeking to engage with institutional investors. You will be working in the EMEA Corporate Advisory team. The team covers public companies based in EMEA, providing corporate advisory services such as Shareholder Intelligence and Advisory.
The Location: Frankfurt
What's in it for you: In this role, you will conduct research and analysis using S&P Global's proprietary data to uncover insights into what is driving financial markets. You will be supporting analysts in their engagements with key clients across top European issuers. Using a combination of advanced analytics technology and analyst expertise, we help issuers understand the ''why'' behind the purchase and sale of the company's stock and identify early activist activities.
Develop expertise in the financial markets on topics such as ESG, activism and investor relations
Gain exposure to top management and business leaders of some of the largest companies globally
Thrive in an environment that focuses on powering the markets with essential intelligence needed to make confident decisions about the road ahead
Training sessions giving insight into the newest global IR industry topics, developments in ESG, to S&P Global's economists views on the world economy
Responsibilities: If you are an analytical thinker with ideas and insights to help EMEA issuers engage with global institutional investors, this job is for you.
Participate in the growth and improvement of the team's service offering to clients
Work together with researchers and analysts globally to identify shareholders of the client
Help analysts provide clients with actionable insight into activities of global institutional investors
Use analytical databases and information to support clients to target and engage with institutional investors
Help deliver regular and ad-hoc reports to clients on institutional investor activities in the market as well as market impacting topics
What We're Looking For:
In education working towards a Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work experience
Strong communication skills
Knowledge of the equity markets, investor relations experience desirable
Strong team player who thrives under pressure and is comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
Excel skills or data analytical tools
Analytical and have strong problem-solving skills
Self-motivated, takes initiative and enjoys new challenges
Comfortable in working in a dynamic and global environment with colleagues from diverse backgrounds
