Our Corporate and Investment Banking teams in Berlin are working on our strategic tech stack across a range of products including fixed income sales & trading, FX trading (incl. our award-winning Autobahn platform), payments (incl. payments acceptance), core banking, lending and trade finance amongst others. All our systems are built for scale and global business flows.
As a Junior Java Engineer (m/f/x) you will be implementing our core strategic systems underpinning these businesses as part of a wider team.

Your key responsibilities - Design and develop functionalit ies, participate and contribute to code reviews and design sessions
- Work with your team on functional and non-functional requirements, technical analyses and designs???
- Collaborate with the QA Testing team on test automation of new and existing functionalities
- Analyse and diagnose production incidents
- Partner up with other team members and develop platform and process improvements and designs?????????
Your skills and experiences - First hands-on development experience??? with Java , and optionally Kotlin
- Understanding of algorithms, complexities, data structures??????
- Experience with modern SDLC tools - Git, JIRA, Artifactory, Jenkins/TeamCity is a plus???
- Basic hands-on knowledge of modern Web UI technologies (React) or any of these (Spring-boot, SQL, Kafka , Linus, OpenAPI , Maven ) ??? is a plus???
- Willingness to continuously learn and improve and to adapt to the landscape of the bank
