Job Duties: Vice President with Goldman Sachs Services LLC in New York, New York. Develop financial planning, reporting, and analysis models for the assigned division including budgeting processes and reconciliation to actual financial results. Engage with leadership across the Engineering division to apply appropriate governance and oversight related to budget and forecasting of headcount and overall spend. Work with divisional leadership and other members of the functional teams to build the financial projection model. Perform data analysis to project headcount and compensation expenses for Engineering Division and track related strategy implementation process and deliverables. Finalize presentations and financial analysis as requested for senior management and board meetings. Ensure that the Firm's systems and processes capture all necessary financial data for accurate and comprehensive delivery of mandates. Work with the team to provide innovative platforms which enable senior leaders, CFOs, product owners, management and strategy teams to analyze their investment structures, drive efficiencies and forecast future changes. Coordinate flow of requests and analysis for financial reporting with the CAO Office and Controllers. Job Requirements: Master's degree or Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Three (3) years of experience (with a Master's degree) in the job offered or in a related role OR Five (5) years of experience (with a Bachelor's degree) in the job offered or in a related role. Must have two (2) years of experience with: working at a large (500+ employees) financial services organization conducting headcount analysis, budgeting, and expense analysis for technology roles or groups; managing and consolidating budgets and quarterly forecasting for technology roles or groups; attrition modeling and strategic location expansion plans; business analytics tools such as Essbase; business planning tools such as Anaplan; expense management software such as Concur; Zero-based budgeting (ZBB); ASC 350 accounting principles; sourcing data from multiple stakeholders and presenting it as one report to senior stakeholders; presenting to C-level stakeholders; advanced Excel such as pivot tables, conditional formatting, data validations, and functions (such as vlookup, sumif, or index match); and working with large data-sets and databases. The expected annual base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $132,000 - $250,000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
