As a Barclays Analyst - Financial Control, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of financial statements for a variety of our entities. This includes management of monthly close of general ledger and ensuring that all procedures/process have been completed accurately. You will liaise with Product Control, Regulatory Reporting, and various infrastructure groups to discuss substantive issues that affect Financial Statement reporting.

What will you be doing?
??? Be responsible for the closing of month end entities controlled by the BCI - US Branches team ??? Be responsible identifying, escalating, and creating resolution of issues associated with substantiation. Also responsible for the month end balance sheet account reconciliation ??? Preparing financial statements under US GAAP & IFRS; perform analytical reviews including variance analysis ??? Preparing quarter end and year end reporting schedules for the Financial Reporting group and Regulatory Reporting group ??? Proactively aiding the completion of key control deliverables for Finance
What we're looking for:
??? BA/ BS Accounting / Finance ??? 2+ years of relevant work experience ??? Working knowledge of relevant accounting standards under both US GAAP & IFRS
