S&P Market Intelligence 2023 Internship The Role: Summer Intern - Software Development The Team: The team is responsible for building Analytics products in a key strategic platform using emerging tools and technologies. The team works in a significant environment that gives ample opportunities to use creative ideas to take on complex analytical problems. You will have the opportunity every single day to work with people from a wide variety of backgrounds and will be able to develop a close team dynamic with coworkers from around the globe. You will be making meaningful contribution in building solutions for the Webservices/API/Data Processing. The work you do will provide the data and analytics required for crucial, daily decisions in the capital and commodities markets. Responsibilities: ??? Work as a hands-on developer to develop highly scalable industry-leading applications ??? Work closely with product owners, technology leaders to understand and clarify requirements ??? Analyze, isolate issues, and resolve them ??? Produce system documents ??? Improve the architecture and quality of the code What We're Looking For: ??? Pursuing Bachelor's /Master's Degree in Computer Science, Data Science or equivalent. ??? Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills ??? Have strong analytical skills and learning agility ??? Have ability to work in a collaborative work environment ??? Strong knowledge on core Java, Python ??? Basic knowledge on AWS, Microservices, Spring Boot, big data technologies such as Cassandra would be an added plus. Grade/Level ( relevant for internal applicants only ): 5 The Location: New York, NY Compensation/Benefits Information (This section is only applicable to US candidates): S&P Global states that the anticipated hourly wage range for this position is $21 to $30. Final salary for this role will be based on the individual's geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses, and certifications.
