• Our client is a strong performing hedge fund headquartered in Singapore with more than 10 years of market presence. They focus mainly in 2 different strategies (long only & long/short equities) with an AUM size in excess of $800Mil. They are currently looking for an experienced Head of Operations to oversee a team and have hands on experience and knowledge in Fund Accounting, Settlements and Fund compliance

Description

Reporting directly to the CEO, your key responsibilities would include:

• Responsible for overseeing daily operational matters and administrative functions of the business

• Oversight of compliance and risk matters

• Ensure business activities comply with all relevant regulatory requirements and quality standards

• Manage relationships with service providers

• Understanding of MAS filing requirements and review of MAS submissions

• Ensure front-to-end process controls are in place and compliance related requirements are incorporated

• Work with potential investors on operational due diligence

• Leading a team of operations and administration staff

• Assisting the CEO in day to day operational matters

Profile

To succeed in this role, you should ideally possess:

• Degree in Business, Accounting or relevant disciplines

• More than 10 years of Fund accounting and Fund Operations experience with a Fund Administrator or hedge funds

• Well versed with hands on Fund Accounting, Fund settlements and compliance related matters dealing with hedge funds

• Experience managing a small team

• Experienced in fund compliance related matters
