Job Title: Desktop Support Engineer

Salary: 120,000-140,000 + Bonus

Summary: A global, multi-billion dollar hedge fund is searching for a Desktop Support Engineer. In the two decades since its founding in 2002, they have grown to manage over $20B+ and received several industry awards in excellence for risk management, operational robustness, and investment performance. The firm's IT Team supports the firm's global desktop and VDI environment and provides user-facing and telephone support to VIPs, the trade floor, and front office groups.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor & Respond to IT Support Requests
• Diagnose & solve hardware issues
• Plan and implement upgrades for system software, user software, and device firmware
• Monitor networks, infrastructure, and virtualization platforms
• Support remote offices
• Support Bloomberg & Market Data applications
• Perform general new user setup

Key Qualifications:

• 5 Years of Experience with 3 Years in Financial Services
• Experience in L2/L3 IT Support
• Experience w/ Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Intune, SCCM/MECM, PowerShell Scripting, & Bloomberg
• Nice to Haves: Experience with Horizon (VMware), Additional Scripting Languages and Automation Tools, MD-101 Certification, MS-900 Certification, ITIL Service Management Foundation
