Job Duties: Vice President with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in New York, New York. Manage a global team of investment professionals and the day-to-day activities in the execution of an investment strategy focused on driving top quartile investment performance in infrastructure secondaries. Lead the team's efforts for sourcing and origination of infrastructure secondary transactions. Undertake the selection, evaluation, and diligence of infrastructure secondary transactions, with a specific focus on detailed asset-level underwriting and valuation within portfolios across a broad range of sectors. Present investment opportunities to the Investment Committee through written and oral presentations. Coordinate the execution of investments across all deal types, including working closely with internal (e.g., internal counsel, tax, compliance, operations) and external parties (e.g., infrastructure managers, intermediaries, external counsel). Monitor the performance and risk profile of existing portfolio investments. Represent Goldman Sachs' infrastructure secondary investing strategy, including presenting to the global sales force and interacting with both institutional and high net worth investors during capital raising and portfolio reviews. Job Requirements: Master's or Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Mathematics, Financial Engineering, or a related quantitative or Engineering discipline, such as Manufacturing Engineering. Five (5) years of experience with a Bachelor's degree or three (3) years of experience with Master's in the job offered or in a related role. Prior experience must include three (3) years of experience with a Master's degree or five (5) years of experience with a Bachelor's degree with: working in corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, leverage finance, private equity, investment research, and other private market investing within the investment and advisory infrastructure space. Prior experience must include three (3) years of experience with: creating working relationships with global infrastructure funds and intermediaries, and a proven ability to convert relationships to successful transactions; exercising judgment and outstanding numerical, analytical and valuation skills for the purpose of assessing infrastructure secondary investment opportunities; working with investment and tax structuring, particularly for offshore investors investing into infrastructure in the United States; presenting, communicating, and negotiating skills used to make robust recommendations to the secondaries investment committee and interacting effectively with third parties; and raising capital including presenting to global sales teams and interacting with both institutional and high net worth clients in the context of both capital raising and portfolio reviews. Prior experience must include two (2) years of experience with: project management skills related to infrastructure secondary transactions. Prior experience must include one (1) year of experience with: leading a global team across multiple offices and geographies; and leading investments in infrastructure secondaries, across both traditional (LP-led) and non-traditional (GP-led) transaction types. Travel Required: Yes, approximately 10-20% of the time to evaluate investments at times as well as meet with current and prospective investors when raising capital for a new investment fund. The expected annual base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $250,000 - $300,000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
