Becoming a Fiduciary Specialist is a good opportunity for candidates that are eager to learn about financial services industry and become a seasoned professional in Securities Services. You will learn in-depth product knowledge, contribute to the development of new, and the improvement of, processes and work-flow for Trustee Services. You will be trained to evaluate moderately complex and variable issues with commercial and operational impact, and develop the ability to weigh various alternatives and balance potentially conflicting situations using multiple sources of information. Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required.
Responsibilities: - Assist senior Trustee product managers in the Trustee / Fiduciary relationship of a specific set of Hong Kong Fund clients
- Assist in the provision, receipt, safekeeping and maintenance of legal and contractual client documentation
- Arrange and attend client meetings as required
- Support the implementation of new business (incl. the opening and maintenance of client asset and cash accounts and client documentation)
- Draft and provide board level reporting to Cititrust Ltd Board of Directors
- Work with the Fiduciary Operations function on any query escalations they refer in connection to NAV reviews, periodic reviews, daily banking and similar, and provide training to them where required
- Assist in the resolution of investment and borrowing monitoring checks for designated funds, monitoring all relevant aspects of investment management activity where applicable
- Interaction with clients in respect of breaches and price errors
- Manage the flow of data received by/from internal support teams to ensure that relevant and timely information is provided to clients and their associated service providers. Work with internal support teams and external parties to resolve any outstanding client issues
- Ensure agreed service levels commitments are monitored and tracked, and any issues identified are escalated to the relevant parties and followed through to resolution.
- Assist in the planning and execution of onsite inspection visits to managers, administrators, transfer agents or other entities as directed
- Engagement in projects and additional tasks as required by the Senior Fiduciary Client Manager
- Assist in the completion and monitoring of Procedures Manual for Trustee Services
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications: - 5-8 years relevant experience
- Experience in product management, consultancy, legal, audit, compliance and/or operations
Education: - Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience
