About our client We are working with the world's first evergreen cleantech venture investor, which has been built to support and grow the category-leading climate tech champions of the future. Their unique evergreen structure gives them genuine alignment with founders and a flexible approach without short time horizons or fixed capital constraints. They have an excellent track record and have scaled assets under management (AUM) to the hundreds of millions. They typically invest at the Seed to Series B stages, and in deals across all climate tech sectors including but not limited to, energy, mobility, food and agriculture, the built environment and greenhouse gas capture, removal, and storage. Predominantly investing across the UK and Europe, the Team has also made investments outside of Europe. The current investment team is lean for the funds recently raised, with the Partners currently supported by two Principals. As such, they are looking to add talented and climate motivated Associates to the team - in this role you will have a high degree of exposure to the senior team as well as significant headroom to develop and grow over time. Contribute to all aspects of the investment cycle from deal sourcing and execution through to portfolio management and exits
Conduct market research and deep-dives
Develop your network in the start-up and climate tech ecosystem
Be a representative for the firm in the market
