About our client
Our client is a growing private equity secondaries firm, looking to expand its investor relations team in Singapore at the senior associate / VP level. They have ambitious growth plans, and their next fundraising will represent a significant uplift. They have a highly collaborative and friendly culture, and you will gain significant responsibility from the offset, getting the opportunity to work directly with senior members of the team.
What the job involves
You will be part of an entrepreneurial and growing team, and this is a fantastic opportunity to build a long-term career as an investor relations professional. You will need to have a strong interest in a client facing role.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with investors across the South East Asia regions
  • Identifying and proactively approaching prospective investors - institutional and family offices
  • Proactively marketing the firm's products to the appropriate investors in the region
  • Drive the preparation and updates of key marketing and due diligence materials and documents
  • Drive the planning and execution of investor update webinars, events, and meetings
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge on developments in the firm's portfolio and the asset management industry
Who we are looking for
  • Relevant experience in client relationship management, working at a placement agent or in in-house investor relations team based in Asia ideally with a background in private markets. Other backgrounds such as investment banking or management consulting will also be considered
  • Outstanding communication skills, with ability to establish relationships quickly and convey complex information clearly and concisely
  • Highly organised with excellent project management and leadership skills
  • Proven ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple projects efficiently
  • Excellent command of verbal and written English. Fluency in an Asian language is a strong plus
