Overview
NAV Solutions is a new start up team at BNY Mellon that sits outside of NAV Operations. We utilize software from Milestone Group to perform NAV oversight and backup NAV services for both internal and external clients. While we are independent from NAV Operations, we are looking for candidates with a similar skill set. There are multiple teams under the NAV Solutions umbrella including Trades/Recons, Pricing, Security Master, Client Onboarding and Technology Support Teams. We seek candidates who are highly motivated, that can perform at a high level in both a project and BAU environment, while working in a hybrid model.
Valuations Pricing - S6Serves as the team leader/supervisor for the day-to-day processing of data for Validation/Pricing. Presents valuation reports to senior management. Manages the day-to-day activities of the Validation/Pricing team and aligns resources accordingly to complete daily tasks. Serves as the first line supervisor as issues arise. Puts into action improvements and solutions of existing processes to better align with the business. Directs, motivates and motivates staff to maximize their potential. Presents security pricing findings to senior leadership and comments on potential business effects. Provides expert knowledge on moderately complex problems. Acts as teams initial point of contact for any items that require escalation. Delivers solutions to client problems in situations that are complex or occur infrequently based on existing precedents or procedures. Initial point of contact for escalations. Supervises a medium to large sized Validation/Pricing team. Responsible for specific supervisory review and approval requests. Responsible for the quality and completion of own work. Helps develop and contributes to the achievement of team objectives.
- Associates Degree in a related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- Bachelors degree preferred.
- 7 plus years of total work experience preferred.

BNY Mellon assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $53,000 and $130,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNYM total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
