Role: Compliance Officer

Reporting to: Head of Legal and Compliance

Location: Paris, France

We have been engaged by a leading multinational bank to find a Compliance Officer to join their Paris branch. With Headquarters in London and presence in 14 countries across 3 continents, this bank is a leader on the global stage.

The Role:

• Implementation of the compliance monitoring plan; undertaking testing and monitoring
• Assisting in the upkeep of the policies and procedures related to the compliance programme
• Assisting with periodic reporting to the regulating authorities
• Maintaining compliance documentation and complaints related records
• Drafting compliance related reports to the Executive Committee and various boards
• Reviewing regulatory compliance topics such as MiFID II
• Performing AML/CFT controls and related reporting
• Participate in various project-based initiatives, collaborating closely with different teams

The Candidate:

• 3+ years of financial markets experience, ideally on a global scale
• Good working knowledge of France regulatory requirements
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills and strong written and verbal skills
• Highly motivated with a strong work ethic and a desire to learn
• Fluent written and spoken English required, fluency in French is a strong advantage
