My client is looking for an experienced PR professional with a proven track record in media comms and an in-depth knowledge of the investment, asset management and wealth management industry.
What you'll do My client works with a range of journalists across the media landscape, from titles targeted at wealth management, professional advisers, financial advisers, charities, sustainability, investment and wealth planning. Each audience will require a different tone and focus alongside a consistent message.
translate the wealth management marketing and communications strategy into a focused PR and internal comms strategy for the business this will include video, social media, online and traditional print media * support the team with external PR for all partnership and sponsorship agreements, as appropriate * support media strategy development and its tactical implementation for all campaign activities * build visibility and helping to positively differentiate the wealth management proposition * learn and understand the competitor landscape * build relationships with journalists from key publications in order to disseminate my client's messages to their various target audiences. * work closely with the head of content, head of marketing and communications on all aspects of PR and communication
The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need * 5+ years of media relations experience (either in-house, in consultancy or ) or as a financial journalist * Extensive investment / asset management / wealth management industry experience in media relations and/or journalism * Technical financial acumen preferably with a focus on wealth and asset management
The knowledge, experience and qualifications that might help * Experience of working as a journalist would be beneficial * Degree qualification * Asset Management media relations experience
