A world-leading prop trading fund is seeking a pragmatic DevOps Engineer for operational and project-oriented work to enable research-driven trading & compliance. The successful engineer will help manage the data pipelines on which the traders rely. You will be comfortable working with data that is challenging both in scale and diversity - they manage streams of data with hundreds of billions of messages every day. You will also own and improve patterns, processes and standards for migrating applications to Kubernetes platform.
The ideal candidate will have a real passion for automation of repetitive tasks, and the curious mindset to dig deep to find creative solutions.
Requirements
Strong Kubernetes and Linux operations experience
Previous exposure to git, Ansible, Docker
Experience with AWS stack (primarily S3, EC2, EKS, MSK)
Good knowledge of automating deployments using CI/CD pipelines.
Keen grasp of networking fundamentals
Comfortable in a fast-paced environment, able to communicate with a diverse range of colleagues across the business
