Group Strategic Analytics delivers applications that solve quantitative problems. The group's key pricing analytics library, known as DB-Analytics, provides pricing and risk functions for both end of day and real time operation as well as portfolio analysis across the Bank. It values outright, vanilla, and exotic derivatives across all Deutsche Bank processed asset classes.

You will be part of the Platform Engineering team, working predominantly, in C++ on the core of this library to deliver structural change and performance enhancements as well as detailed technical support for the quantitative analysts who build pricing models within it.

You will also take a share in the responsibility for the deployment of the library and its automated continuous integration processes. These are critical to the verification of both the numerical consistency as well the general performance as both the codebase and Bank's portfolio evolve.

Your key responsibilities

• Responsible for delivering robust, well tested, and high-performance C++ to support pricing models and their development
• Responsible for ongoing delivery of the platform to production
• Working in partnership with the application teams that integrate the pricing models into larger pricing platforms
• Providing live support to end-users of the pricing models where issues arise with desktop use and delivery of the analytics platform
• Responsible for collaborating with team members to maintain good programming practice

Your skills and experience

• Good programming skills in C++ with a track record of developing applications for use ideally in a high-pressure production environment. (Essential)
• Experience in building continuous integration tooling, including the analysis of the results of complex numerical regression test suites
• Good knowledge on other programming languages - Python, PHP or Angular
• Knowledge of financial products and basic experience of pricing and risk
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate effectively within a team and across multiple teams and functions
