About our client:

One of the leading financial services group, active in providing banking, insurance and other financial services in Hong Kong. They are now looking for a technical engineering underwriter to focus in developing engineering business with local brokers and direct report to Head of Construction.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Build relationship with local brokers to develop construction and engineering business
• Underwriting submission review, price analysis and decide reasonable and appropriate underwriting terms and conditions
• Manage day-to-day operation of the construction portfolio
• Provide technical support on engineering issues
• Involvement in special projects as assigned by senior management
• Provide guidance to administration on policy issuance
  
  

Job Requirements:

• More than 4 years' experience for AM and 8 years' experience for Manager, perfer in underwriting construction and engineering business of Hong Kong
• University degree in engineering would be an advantage
• Good connection with local brokers is a plus
• Strong communication, interpersonal skill
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
