A renowned bank is looking for a VP level candidate to join their Finance team focusing on reviewing and preparing HKMA banking returns, surveys and financial disclosures
Job Responsibilities
Review and prepare HKMA banking returns, surveys and financial disclosures, ensure all reporting are complied with regulatory requirements and submitted on a timely basis
Provide accurate and timely financial information to regulator and business units upon request
Maintain internal control procedures to ensure data accuracy of regulatory reports
Assist in conducting impact assessment and data gap analysis on new regulatory reporting requirements and new product program
Support external and internal audit review
Support system projects and initiatives related to regulatory reporting
Job Requirements
Bachelor degree with professional accounting qualification
Solid experience in banking and financial industries, with experience at managerial level
Sound knowledge on HKMA regulatory reporting requirements and Banking Ordinance
Self-motivated, able to work independently under tight timeline
Attentive to details and drive for process efficiency
