Position Summary

The Investments team is looking for a hardworking, motivated, and entrepreneurial Investment Analyst to join our growing team in Toronto. Reporting to our Senior Principal, Investments, this is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their career at a purpose-focused company.

We expect you to be a self-starter with a keen initiative to get things done, as you will be joining a small, high-performing team of innovators. Experience working with smaller teams is an asset. We are looking for someone who approaches a challenge with zeal, who can think outside the box to push initiatives forward.

This position is located at our Toronto office. You need to be legally eligible to work in Canada. Our preference is for the incumbent to be Toronto based as some work in the Toronto office will be required.

Responsibilities  

• Assist in the investment screening process by performing preliminary analysis of investment opportunities
• Support due diligence and develop financial models for potential investments
• Support and prepare analysis and content for investment documentation and presentations
• Provide analytical support for portfolio management, including performance analysis, valuation, risk monitoring and data collection
• Build and maintain financial models to assist in portfolio construction/monitoring tasks and other value-added initiatives
• Take on different roles and tasks, as necessary, to support the growth of the business
