Ensures a resilient environment by delivering and maintaining Technology Assurance model for Technology Infrastructure. Defines, carries out, measures and reports on performance of critical infrastructure functions and capabilities for delivery of secure, scalable and resilient technology to meet business requirements.
Lead strategic direction for development, deployment and maintenance of Assurance model for Technology Infrastructure (TI) using industry standard models as a reference
Responsible for communicating requirements, supporting leaders in complying and soliciting areas for improvement.
Implement monitoring/assessment work to support Technology Infrastructure organization in delivering a resilient environment.
Demonstrate Ameriprise's Technology Control Framework and comprehensive risk catalog to collectively help drive Technology performance while meeting other collaborator needs.
Facilitate deployment and maintenance of Technology risk and controls model with assigned Technology teams using industry standard models (e.g., COBIT5, ITIL, NIST) as references.
Support Technology teams in deploying, supervising and improving their critical functions in alignment with the model requirements.
Support approach to drive Technology Risk Office functions, including detailed processes, risks and controls and providing reporting of status.
Own and maintain dashboards to provide the CIO leadership team a view into current status of effort and scorecards for their areas as well as an overall Technology view for the CIO.
Work with audit and compliance functions to align work and results. Lead all aspects of technology engagement in audits and assessments to provide assurance that work remains passionate about risks and controls deemed vital for optimally delivering services and solutions.
Bachelors degree or equivalent in Computer Science, MIS, or related field.
5-7 years of relevant experience required.
2+ years of experience providing day-to-day oversight/supervision to a team of technical employees and/or vendor partner resources.
3-5+ years of broad technical experience with tried expertise in several of the following areas: servers, networks, hardware, operating systems (Windows, UNIX, Solaris, Linux, AIX), virtualization software, middleware and related base build infrastructure and software.
Experience and domain expertise in the web and distributed computing environment, as well as mainframe experience.
2+ years of experience and known to work identifying and implementing opportunities for improvement to configurations, procedures and process to enable greater availability, capability and efficiency.
Certifications preferred: ITIL Foundation.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical information to non-technical audiences and vice versa.
Excellent problem detection and determination skills in multiple functional infrastructure/application areas.
Experience in tracking and managing IT assets through their lifecycle (from Procurement to disposal)
Shown experience defining, championing and maintaining processes, procedures and policies.
Experience in performing process reviews and process compliance audits
Knowledge of IT infrastructure domain
