Vanderbilt University School of Nursing (VUSN) currently has open rank, tenure track positions available. We are seeking mid-career and/or senior level nurse scientists with an established multidisciplinary program of research in one of the following priority areas:
Pregnancy Outcomes, Mother and Infant Health, Family Health
Acute and Chronic Illness
Palliative Care Science
Data Science and Health Technologies
Appointments may be made at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor, commensurate with experience. Candidates for consideration as Associate Professor or Professor should have consistent and exceptional records of research/scholarship as demonstrated by a history of external grant funding, and scholarship (such as publications in peer-reviewed journals). Teaching contributions are expected within the doctoral program and postdoctoral program along with the mentorship of junior faculty. History of service within nursing and multidisciplinary professional organizations is preferred.
PhD or equivalent research doctorate in health-related field. Postdoctoral experience is preferred. The successful candidate will have an established competitive program of research. Salary and rank will be commensurate with experience.
