As a Barclays Research Analyst, US Payments, Processors & IT Services; Fintech, you will have the opportunity to analyze industry macro trends and company financials under the direction of the Fintech/ Payment, Processors and IT Services Senior Analyst. What will you be doing?
??? Be responsible for building and maintaining financial models and industry databases for evaluating companies and market segments ??? Reviewing business and trade publications, annual reports, financial filings and other sources in order to gather, synthesize and interpret data on companies followed by team ??? Preparing research reports varying in size and scope from quick briefs on earnings results or strategic events to more in-depth, original thought pieces on a range of topics ??? Be responsible for researching, analyzing and forecasting the impact of technology as well as varying corporate strategies ??? Developing marketing materials for clients and attend industry conferences where appropriate ??? Writing research reports and will be responsible for communicating recommendations to sales, trading, management teams, institutional investor clients
What we're looking for:
??? Exceptional academic background; BA+ four+ years Sell-side Fintech Equity research background required. MBA/CFA preferred ??? Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communication skills (4+ years) ??? Solid financial experience including financial modeling, financial statement analysis and working with large data sets required (4+ years) ??? Understanding of the companies in this industry and the competitive landscape
