What will you be doing?
??? On behalf of a global financial services organization, work with product owners to set priorities and perform gap analysis to define the current and future business requirements.
??? Analyze science, engineering, business, and other data processing problems to develop and implement solutions to complex applications problems, system administration issues, or network concerns.
??? Interact with technical leads to gather technical requirements.
??? Write complex SQL queries for performing reverse engineering and find data lineage for all process.
??? Create data models. Perform data mapping and ETL documentation to migrate data from source and target database, as well as UML diagrams.
??? Prepare design documents and business outcomes as well as peer review colleague's technical user stories to ensure consistency in technical and business understanding.
??? Identify the technical dependencies and communicate the sequence of work to the team.
??? Organize scrum ceremonies such as backlog refinement meeting, sprint planning meetings, daily scrum meeting, scrum review meetings, and retrospective meeting.
??? Perform systems management and integration functions, improve existing computer systems, and review computer system capabilities, workflow, and schedule limitations.
What we're looking for:
Minimum of a Master's degree, or foreign equivalent in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field and at least three (3) years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or related occupation.
Must have at least three (3) years of employment experience with each of the following required skills:
??? Database management systems to capture source and target details by understanding data concepts;
??? SQL query language;
??? MS Visio data modeling tools, Hadoop, and AWS systems;
??? Understanding system development lifecycle including Rally and JIRA;
??? Hadoop clusters & HDFS
??? OLAP and BI Reporting (Tableau)
??? Data modelling (Conceptual logical & Physical Data Modelling)
??? Waterfall & Agile Methodologies
