As a Barclays Global Contract Services Negotiator AVP, you will negotiate Trading Netting Agreements, while protecting, supporting and collaborating with colleagues in competition, mergers and acquisitions, commercial contracts, employment, intellectual property, litigation, enforcement, financial crime and transaction support. You will work with a team of lawyers and industry professionals in the Legal department, responsible for negotiations of master trading documentation for the firm's global markets business.

What will you be doing?
??? Negotiating and executing master trading agreements as well as ancillary documentation ??? Ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory and documentation risk controls and adhere to associated guidelines and procedures ??? Conducting independent legal analysis and manage relationships with external counsel where necessary and within Barclays requirements on external legal spend ??? Fostering and managing robust client relationships with the bank's clients and investment managers ??? Helping to deliver team and departmental projects and objectives and participating in the development processes, policies and procedures. ??? Preparing and delivering training and presentations to colleagues in Legal and other areas of the Bank ??? Performing quality checks on negotiations conducted by other negotiators prior to execution ??? Participating in department wide projects
What we're looking for:
??? Bachelor's Degree ??? Full command of Spanish ??? 3+ years of financial services experience, in legal or as a negotiator ??? Competence in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Skills that will help you in the role:
??? Portuguese speaker ??? Qualified attorney in NY, LATAM or other jurisdiction ??? Understanding of CMOF documentation ??? Substantial experience, knowledge and understanding of the ISDA Master Agreement, the Financial industry and Legal roles
