About our client
Our client is a global asset manager with more than US$500 billion AUM worldwide, with a significant presence in the industrial and retail real estate sectors in Mexico. As Business and Operations Manager for Mexico, you will have a chance to manage and lead the broad operations of the group as well as spearhead new business improvement projects, including overseeing administrative policies and procedures, implementing workflow procedures, and developing strategic initiatives to improve efficiency throughout the business. Complete fluency in both written and oral English is mandatory. The position is based in Mexico City.
What the job involves
  • Oversee day to day operations of the business
  • Lead monthly management meetings
  • Coordinate and manage the budget for the organization as well as assist with the management of the office premises and insurance requirements
  • Execute business improvement strategies that will streamline processes and allow for more efficient process execution
  • Lead steering groups regarding key system implementation and changes
  • Facilitate communication and support business heads in ensuring that they have the systems and support to efficiently carry out their responsibilities
Who we are looking for
  • Solid years of experience overseeing business operations, designing, and implementing projects, policies, and procedures
  • Hands-on experience in property management
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in defining and leading projects related to business improvement and strategy
  • Superior leadership skills with the ability to develop positive relationships by understanding and addressing individual needs
  • Capable to multi-task and be nimble, with a strong attention to detail, and a disciplined work ethic
  • Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish
