This role sits within the Ameriprise Global Asset Management business, Columbia Threadneedle Investments.
The Talent Acquisition Specialist will recruit roles across the CTI business with a direct sourcing focus, leveraging advertising tools and our global sourcing team to pipeline and identify a diverse range of candidates. This role will work closely with the global HRBP and COE teams as well as the broader TA team.
How you'll spend your time....
Manage permanent hiring for roles across Columbia Threadneedle Investments, with a focus on sourcing diverse candidates directly using a variety of strategies including working effectively with the Global Sourcing team.
Deliver a robust process that responds to regulations whilst ensuring a first-class candidate and hiring leader experience that reinforces our inclusive culture.
Help to drive strategic pipeline conversations across all levels of employees, in partnership with the wider Ameriprise Financial Talent Acquisition team and other local CTI recruiters.
Constructively challenge and influence Leaders through sharing external insights to inform them on labor industry trends and market data that is critical to a successful hiring outcome.
Identify potential issues or concerns through comprehensive understanding of HR Compliance and our Risk framework to effectively manage and avoid exposure to Risk
Use a solid understanding of the company's compensation philosophy and employee benefits platform, partnering with HR colleagues and the Hiring Leaders to produce appropriate offers. Articulate offer components and philosophy to candidates to ensure acceptance.
Provide strong relationship management support for HR Business Partners and leaders on all aspects of Talent Acquisition to ensure expectations are managed appropriately and a robust, fair process is delivered to ensure a first-class candidates experience. This is to include ensuring Hiring Leaders provide clear, constructive and timely candidate feedback constructively challenging as needed.
Partner with Centers of Excellence and HRBP's to understand diversity affirmative action plans for CTI; develop recruitment strategies with Hiring Leaders to support hiring diverse talent
Support management information reporting and auditing through effecitive data management in the ATS and other trackers as required
To be successful in this role you will have....
Prior recruiting experience with demonstrated ability to effecitvely source candidates directly
