About our client
Our client is a global VC platform investing on behalf of two of the worlds largest insurance companies. They have a small but highly experienced team based across London and Hong Kong, investing in funds ranging from seed to later-stage. They commit capital across the US, Europe and Israel, backing both established and emerging managers, and are actively expanding their investment strategy to include secondaries and co-investments, alongside their impressive fund investing activity.
This is a highly motivated, self-starting and entrepreneurial environment, where the preferred candidate will be able to take as much responsibility as they can handle. You will be involved in all facets of the fund investing process including meeting with prospective & existing managers, participating in diligence calls and preparing investment memoranda.

What the job involves
  • Evaluation of potential investment opportunities
  • Meeting with prospective and existing managers
  • Preparation of Investment Memoranda
  • Participation on diligence calls
  • Portfolio monitoring
  • Due diligence of primary, secondary and co-investment opportunities

Who we are looking for
  • Fund investing experience is highly desirable, but motivated candidates from banking, consulting, big 4 or buy-side roles will be considered
  • Strong analytical skill, organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Intellectually curious and willing to learn
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • A team player, good level of maturity, ability to take ownership of work and able to meet deadlines
