- Receive change requests from leadership/partner teams; manages the change management process, including defining the request, collaborating with key stakeholders, developing design recommendations with scope, cost, and schedule impacts, and building clear, fact-based presentations for approval.
- Manage and coordinates all aspects of assigned new/remodel prototypes and changes, including architectural, civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire, refrigeration, and data engineering. Partners with internal teams for stakeholder input, including operations, marketing, merchandising, facilities management, procurement, finance, as well as project teams including site-adapt design, construction, and project management.
- Manage assigned prototypes and related changes with support of external consultants
- Actively manage consultants with clear direction to define services required to develop/execute changes
- Actively manage consultant budgets with fiscal accountability to Walmart, including clear understanding of budget & scope, and required budget increases
- Partner with internal stakeholders and teams to receive ongoing feedback for improvement of assigned prototype designs.
- Responsible for continual improvement and innovation to reduce total landed costs while achieving customer/associate experience targets.
- Manage the safety, security, and integrity of all prototype designs ensuring compliance with applicable federal, state, and local building codes, as well as applicable corporate compliance, food safety, and asset management requirements
