About our client
Our client, a leading European private equity firm that has seen consistent growth year after year, is now looking to hire an Investor Relation Associate to join its high calibre investor relations team. They are currently in-market with their flagship fund and have recently announced their first high-profile deal - there is a lot of momentum at the moment and future plans to build out new products making it an exciting time to join.

What the job involves
In this role, you will primarily focus on project management and be fully dedicated to supporting all matters related to investors. In addition, you will be highly involved in the fundraising process from developing and drafting materials, through to establishing the go-to-market strategy for new products and coordinating on-site due diligence processes. The ideal candidate will be commercially minded and technically astute with excellent project management skills. There are excellent prospects for growth and development in this team and you will be exposed to investors on a daily basis.
  • Project manage current and future fundraising for existing and new products
  • Plan, prepare and deliver internal and external documentation and information for key events: AGMs, Advisory Board meetings, etc.
  • Work with internal teams to deliver effective client relations services
  • Coordinate and chair on-site due diligence meetings
  • Respond to inbound investor queries in a timely manner, often needing to coordinate with internal teams such as Investment, Finance & Operations and Legal

Who we are looking for
  • Background in investment banking, asset management or lead advisory firm. Experience from within a placement agent would be advantageous
  • Proficient command of English and demonstrable ability to transform financial performance details into investor-friendly messages
  • Technically minded and comfortable understanding financial/performance terminology
  • Detail-oriented, structured thinker with strong project management skills
  • Additional European language would be well-regarded though not a prerequisite
