MacKelfresh & Associates, a private wealth advisory practice with Ameriprise Financial, is looking for an experienced Office Administrator to work with a high-producing team of financial advisors and marketing personnel to help families and business owners fulfill their financial goals and dreams. This employee will be responsible for daily office needs such as answering phones, greeting clients, scheduling, and general administrative activities such as filing, document scanning, database entry, and compliance documentation. This position will rely on the use of various web-based tools and databases, proprietary and public, to assist advisors and staff with client service and plan implementation. A working knowledge of Microsoft Office and an intuitive ability to navigate software and computer applications is a must. This employee must be committed to developing the knowledge base necessary to perform their duties, as well as exhibit a commitment to the success of the company. This position can provide long-term growth opportunities for the right candidate who is looking to get involved with and understand multiple facets of the financial service industry. Starting salary: Benefits provided: After 60 days: 100% Employee paid medical insurance After 90 days: Group Short/Long-Term Disability and Basic Life Insurance After one year: 401(k) plan participation (if age 21+) Paid time off and company holidays Responsibilities Client Care (50%)
Required Qualifications Minimum education: High School diploma or GED; Associates Degree preferred Experience: 1-5 years; Financial Industry experience preferred Basic Skills:
