Position Description:
We are seeking an Associate for our Portfolio Management division to support the facilitation of our employee engagement strategies. Within this role you will serve as a resource to the senior leadership and the broader PM business in coordinating engagement solutions. This role requires individuals to be self-starters, highly professional, organized and detail oriented. We are looking for a candidate who is collaborative, inclusive and an effective communicator. We encourage individuals to take ownership and initiative and bring forth creative ideas and solutions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Partner with PM leadership and HR to understand the talent goals and objectives, helping to implement engagement techniques aligned to those objectives
- Take ownership of meeting and networking event coordination to support the PM employee engagement strategy and build connections across the business
- Plan PM social gatherings once a quarter across various offices; global coordination
- Create events around Forum for inclusive engagement of traveling PMs
- Manage all aspects of meeting logistics partnering with relevant assistants firm wide to ensure flawless execution
- Coordinate meeting materials, printing and distribution in advance of the event
- Administer employee surveys and analyze results to determine which engagement techniques are effective
- Support successful onboarding of PM new hires by coordinating welcome events with PM leaders, providing input on integration plans and ensuring appropriate follow-up
- Provide the PM Management Group the support needed to engage effectively with new joiners globally; approach may vary by leader and style
- Develop events and administer techniques to enhance communication in partnership with PM Management, HR and I&D to create a regular cadence of communications to the PM organization on our culture building strategies
- Work with HR to plan PM Town Hall meetings to provide updates on talent initiatives and culture enhancements
- Identify opportunities to further support employee engagement of our underrepresented minorities
- Stay abreast of new developments in engagement strategies and practices, externally as well as internally
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 3+ years of financial services experience with a demonstrated strong work ethic embedded with the highest integrity
- Able to take on varying responsibilities and adapt to changing situations with minimal notice and guidance
- Experience managing projects from proposal through implementation to seamless execution
- Track record of working in an extremely dynamic, fast-paced, results-oriented environment; able to prioritize and complete multiple projects simultaneously
- Affinity for technology and the ability to think with a "tech mindset"
- Strong organizational and project management skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Work independently, proactively, and under tight deadlines, all while operating with a collaborative mindset
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal), with the appropriate demeanor to interface across all levels
- Possess a high EQ and emotional maturity
- Able to handle confidential information professionally and appropriately
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including: Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
