The Product Manager role, within the Wealth Management business group, will be responsible for the product management of life insurance, long term care and disability insurance products. Overall responsibilities will include carrier relationship management, product and concept knowledge, industry rules and regulations, projects and initiatives, operations, compensation maintenance and audit, and advisor communications and marketing.
Manage carrier relationships
Be main contact for advisor questions for Third Party Insurance Products
Oversee premium finance platform working with advisors and premium finance committee
Create and manage different aspects of marketing and communications for our department to both internal and extrenal audiences
Manage compensation program
Provide effective education and training expertise on different topics within our industry
Display and utliize product and concept knowledge across all aspects of what we do to enhance our teams effectiveness and capabilities
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
5+ years financial services experience, preferably in product development and management for insurance
Excellent strategic and analytical skills to solve complex problems and identify new product solutions
Relationship Management experience
Knowledge and experience working in brokered insurance market preferred
Strong understanding of compliance and regulatory environment
Proven organizational skills, including managing multiple tasks simultaneously
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Attention to detail, accuracy, and high level of personal accountability
Active Series 7 or the ability to obtain within 120 days
