About our client
We are working with a major financial services group to support their market-leading infrastructure team, focused on direct investments globally. The firm has substantial financial resources, an unrivalled international network, and a great deal pipeline. They currently have more than 20 investments in their active portfolio with more than ???20bn AUM. Due to continued success, they are looking to bring an ambitious new Associate on board who will join the experienced team working on all aspects of the deal cycle. The position will be based in Munich.

What the job involves
  • End to end work across the deal cycle: source & execute transactions, display dedication and technical skill in analysis, structuring, diligence, negotiations and closing
  • Involvement in the ongoing monitoring and management of existing infrastructure investments

Who we are looking for
  • Strong academic track record from a leading university
  • Relevant transaction experience and initial training at a top-tier investment bank; other backgrounds such as private equity or other infrastructure funds may also be relevant
  • Previous infrastructure exposure is not necessary, however, you should bring a strong interest in the sector as well as the ability to learn quickly in order to hit the ground running
  • Team player: support the senior team members with various projects; able to work successfully with internal and external providers; proactive and enthusiastic attitude
  • Fluent English is required with German preferred
