Selby Jennings is currently partnered with an alternative investment firm based in Sarasota,FL. This firm has been around for 2 years, focusing primarily on fixed income funds. This firm is looking for a Junior Investor Relations Associate who will help them with their fundraising efforts to help the firm expand further.

Responsibilities of the Junior IR Associate role are:

• Work directly on all new fundraising, IR and business development initiatives
• Cultivate relationships with prospective clients and investors
• Lead presentations & meetings with new & potential clients & investors through networking events as well as through video call
• Act as the first point of contact between the firm and potential investors
• Interact on a regular basis with various teams throughout the firm
• Set up meetings with potential investors and pitch to them why they should invest in the firm

Requirements for the Junior IR role are:

• Fundraising experience within the real estate sector is a plus
• Accreditted investors in your network is a plus as well
• Excellent communication skills
• Has an entrepreneurial spirit & very motivated to succeed
• Have a strong interest in real estate
