About our client
We are working with a global real estate fund manager investing in and advising specialised real estate companies on their capital raising activities. The firm is seeing consistent growth since its launch, and is now looking to add a driven professional to join their Real Estate Capital Markets Advisory team. This team advises global RE managers on their capital raising activities. These are long term relationships for whom the team raises capital across RE strategies and provides advisory through the different stages of the fundraising efforts.
What the job involves
In this role, you will manage a team to lead the execution of real assets capital advisory transactions and pitch processes, and will execute deals for the firm's investment manager clients.
  • Leading the integral, early-stage analysis and strategic idea formation for clients' new investment management initiatives
  • Organising and leading meetings with client executives, investors, and key deal partners
  • Performing the underwriting for each new transaction and establishing the comprehensive set of information which supports the entire transaction
  • Managing the creation and content of transaction term sheets with key involvement in sheet negotiation tactics and strategy
  • Covering and communicating with prospective investors, including organising, and participating to investor roadshows, asset tours, and due diligence meetings
  • Communicating regularly with, reporting to and attending regular strategy meetings with senior-level client executives
  • Leading the performance of market analyses to generate potential new business leads, overseeing the preparation of meeting materials and participating actively in meetings with prospective clients
  • Opportunity to be staffed on principal investing projects across the firm
Who we are looking for
  • Educated to degree level with prior experience in M&A advisory, investment management or institutional private capital experience in real assets
  • Proven ability to lead complex transactions and teams through a process leading to completed advisory assignments or investments
  • Strong financial acumen and modelling skills
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English is essential, any other European language is desirable
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to work independently across multiple projects under competing deadlines
  • Interest in real estate is key
