Information Security Services (ISS) organization is seeking a highly motivated, organized, upbeat Technology Program Manager to provide project management and oversight across multiple programs within the ISS portfolio. Resource will be responsible for handling enterprise-wide technology projects or releases within the ISS department as well as provide overall mentorship across the portfolio. Will be responsible to plan and effectively lead all aspects of the program, project or release including cost, schedule, scope, quality and resources following the appropriate methodologies.
Responsibilities

- Effectively run the Information Security Services (ISS) portfolio to ensure timely execution on project work across the department. Provide governance oversight to ensure program/project alignment to analysis strategy, standards, policies, tools and procedures. Guide PM practitioners to consistently apply appropriate analysis principles and standards during project analysis, design and implementation phases. Work with multiple leaders across the department to conduct planning, prioritization and finalization of annual ISS agenda.
- Run, supervise and ensure efficient delivery for annual portfolio of Information Security Services programs/projects with total budgets ranging from approximately $2MM to $5MM+ through effective management of staff, budget, schedule, scope, quality and risk. Accountable for program/project communications, breakthrough tracking, financials, risk assessment and prioritization and customer concern and resolution of critical issues to program/project sponsors/owners.
- Define the overall vision, objectives and key work you're doing for the program; identify and supervise key measures of success. Develop comprehensive project plans that incorporate work, accountabilities and time lines, communication plans and that apply the company's project management system for maintaining/tracking project plan and status. Provide regular status reporting on health of the program and program progress (e.g. budget, scope, issues, risks), as defined by company standards.
- Work effectively with business partners, vendors and staff to develop the program agenda and ensure agreement/adoption of objectives/work by affected constituencies. Provide proactive communication to program/project owners. Work to identify cross-organizational interdependencies and ensure appropriate integration to project plan. Effectively lead client expectations and resource requirements to ensure ownership and success.
- Provide day-to-day oversight across all ISS program activities related to delivery of large, sophisticated, enterprise-wide programs to ensure the program meets defined success criteria. Align cross-organizational resources to ensure successful delivery of the program, project or release. Effectively handle program risks and issues ensuring they are resolved in a timely manner. Work with business and technology leaders to recommend program/project scope changes and integrate in to the program/project structure.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree or equivalent (4-years) in Computer Science, Business or related field.
- 7-10 years of meaningful work experience required.
- 5+ years significant experience, including at least two years of project management experience with software development projects.
- Experienced level understanding of business functions, business management issues and the IT organizations systems and capabilities.
- Experienced level consultative and influencing skills.
- Demonstrated ability to look after ambiguity and to efficiently manage within it.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills including executive level business and technology partners and presentations.
- Successful track record of delivering projects/programs/releases on time and within budget that meet quality guidelines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications Preferred: PMP, PgMP, PMI-ACI, PMI-RMP, PMI-SP
- Expert skills in layered projects involving multiple systems and multiple phased deliveries.
- Shown ability to be broadly focused and lead multiple efforts concurrently.
- Shown achievements in planning, advising and implementing sophisticated projects on time, within budget and with desired functionality.
- Strong conflict resolution, negotiating and influencing skills.
- Ability to relate well at all levels of the organization, establishing rapport and maintaining collaborative relationships.
