About our client
Our client is a leading private equity fund that focuses on raw materials that contribute to the production of renewable assets. In line with their ambitious growth fund, they are looking to add a talented and ambitious Corporate Accountant to join their London team. This role will work closely alongside senior management at the fund and will focus on the corporate accounting for the management company and the international subsidiaries that consolidate into the group structure.
What the job involves
  • Preparation and maintenance of the management company books and records
  • Preparation and presentation of group monthly management accounts and reporting pack to be presented to management
  • Corporate tax reporting (including corporation and partnership tax), monthly VAT reporting, PSA and P11D, engaging directly with Appian's tax advisors as required
  • Preparation of the corporate entities' financial statements and be the first point of contact with auditors and lead the audit process
  • Identify opportunities and lead ad-hoc projects to improve efficiencies, systems and processes and/or improve productivity and/or save costs
  • Cash management/treasury including the coordination of the accounts payable and receivable processes, cash forecasts, hedging requirements, review of team expense claims and FX policies
Who we are looking for
  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
  • Proactive and the ability to work with different levels of management and across different functions and teams
  • Highly numerate and detailed orientated
  • Self-starter, proactive, energetic, and forward-thinking anticipating business needs before they arise
  • Confident to deal with a wide range of stakeholder
  • Preferential prior experience with group consolidation
