Our client is a newly formed investment platform, backed by one of the world's largest institutional fund managers. They are looking for an Project Acquisitions Manager to join their globally focused investment team, based in London. within this role you will be overseeing solar and wind in different locations from Development (typically when they acquire) into Operations, ensuring all aspects and requirements are met. The platform will focus on investing in sustainable and clean power assets across onshore wind, solar PV and battery storage.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Support the business and asset integration process of newly acquired assets.
  • Create and maintain an integration plan for the project and execute against this managing and mitigating risk
  • Work with key stakeholders to ensure appropriate operating models are designed for projects covering corporate structures, governance frameworks and policies and procedure
  • Project manage any internal set-up required for the project to operate successfully (Finance, Procurement etc)
  • Managing all aspects (technical, financial, performance...) of assets to ensure profitability and efficiency
  • Put in place processes with local teams (if present) to ensure that the transaction is
    meeting the requirements set forth in the acquisition agreements.
YOUR PROFILE:
  • Must have a finance/MBA/engineering background with experience in construction and operations.
  • Extensive experience as a Post-acquisition Manager in the UK or abroad either working for a private equity fund, renewables platform or a utility
  • Must be process oriented, data-driven and have a commercial mindset with a focus on optimising or preserving returns.
  • Experience with planning regulations assessment and management
