RESPONSIBILITIES As a Vice President in Enterprise Risk based in London, you will be working closely with the EMEA Chief Risk Officer and leading the Risk Division's regional entity governance, including the associated Risk Appetite framework, engagement on significant new business initiatives and managing the regional Risk Committee and Board Risk Committee for the main EMEA entities of Goldman Sachs. Primary responsibilities include: - Protect and manage the firm's risk profile by developing or enhancing internal risk processes and frameworks to address the evolving activities of the firm
- Lead the design of the Risk Appetite Statement framework incorporating assessments on business strategy, capital planning, capacity allocation and limit calibration
- Oversee the ICAAP process across Risk functions and liaise with teams to ensure appropriate risk identification, scenario design, tail risks quantification and capital planning commensurate with the entity risk appetite
- Contribute to the evaluation and assessments of the risks associated with the new activities. Interact with stakeholders within the Risk Division and across other Divisions as part of the project evaluations and ensure timely progress on Risk considerations and deliverables
- Oversee presentations and escalation material to the regional Chief Risk Officer, the global Division head and other Managing Directors in the Risk function
- Manage the regional Risk Committee and Board Risk Committee materials, working closely with the regional Chief Risk Officer, the heads of Risk functions, as well as stakeholders in Executive Office, Legal and Controllers.
MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelor's degree
- 7-10 years of work experience
- Strong familiarity with investment banking products including loan products and derivatives
- Strong documentation, analytical, presentational and communication skills
- Ability to comfortably and effectively interact with internal risk experts, business units and various stakeholders outside of the Risk Division, including senior management
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple assignments concurrently
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and Word
